Sue & Martin | Couples Photo Session at La Pedrera Rooftop in Barcelona

Sue and Martin, my dear friends from Prague, and I had the perfect opportunity for a couples photo shoot at La Pedrera in Barcelona. When we realized our trips overlapped last March, we adjusted our schedules to spend at least one evening together. I decided to take them to my favourite rooftop in the world and create something for the two of them. Wel... three of them, but I didn't know at that moment. It was kind of serendipity. I waited for 7 years to make it right. I always knew I wanted to do a session there, but I also always felt it has to be something special to me. 

I've been in love with the rooftop of La Pedrera for years, returning almost every time I visit Barcelona. Anyone who knows me knows I have an obsession with rooftop views. Also, if I know anything about them, is that they are architecture lovers. So we met for a sunset session and we created magic together. They say people never forget how you made them feel, and for me this is very much true. I will never forget the feeling of early spring in Barcelona, sunset at this rooftop and the company of my dear friends. This is what Life is all about. 

My personal tip: book a time slot at the end of the day. Take a drink and a snack with you. Don't plan something right away after the visit, take your time, sit at the rooftop, sip your drink, enjoy the conversation with your company and watch the sunset. I promise, it will be magical.
