Amelia & Igor | intimate elopement on island Hvar

If I was to describe my adventure with Amelia and Igor last summer on island Hvar (Croatia), these are the words I would use: If love had a scent it could be the scent of olive trees, mediterranean herbs and dry grass in late August mixed with sounds of the sea and crickets, singing their song of summer.  It was quite special, climbing that peak and witnessing what the two of them feel for each other. It’s interesting how countries, borders, distances, languages and human boundaries in general are irrelevant when it comes to finding your soul mate and living your life with eyes wide open. And these two, boy, did they have eyes only for each other. This is an amazing, very personal story of one perfect day and climb to St. Nikola where we witnessed a sunset so mesmerising that we just had to stop and stare for a while in silence. 

As he read, I fell in love the way you fall asleep: slowly, and then all at once.
