Amsterdam couple photoshoot

This is a post about my favourite spots in Amsterdam and a visual story about a couples photoshoot made mostly in the streets of Jordaan. It's no secret I am in love with Netherlands. Even the birds know it! Irena and Ivan are friends who moved to Netherlands several years ago and I have been visiting for the last three. Honestly, I didn't think I will fall in love with this country so quickly and so deeply, but I did. I could easily imagine myself living there. In my next post I will show you The Hague, but this time I'm taking you through the streets of Amsterdam.  And here are few of my favourite spots there:

If by any chance you are visiting it for the first time, and you are an art lover, the MUST SEE is (besides Rijksmuseum or Van Gogh museum):

Very close to the museums there is the beautiful Vondelpark. You'll want to take a blanket and just sit there for a while. Breathe and relax. Think about life.

If you like street food, and industrial interiors, you will most definitely love Foodhallen at Bellamyplein 51.

I'll avoid the obvious and skip the places like Anne Frank's house (duh!) and head straight to my favourite part of the city to roam around - Jordaan. For me Jordaan is Amsterdam. If you happen to be there, there is a small litle place called 't Smalle in Egelantiersgracht 12, just the perfect atmosphere for having a beer on a terrace on the canal. This list could go further, but these are my favourite gems in the city, so I wanted to share them with you! If you happen to be in Amsterdam, let me know if you visited any!

P.S. Did you know that each bridge in Amsterdam has it's own name? #funfact
